I have made this deck in an attempt to get 1 “perfect” anki deck which I can use all the way until reaching JLPT N2. I’m still using this deck till this day but I recently made a more compact version of the deck which I prefer to use as it contains less folders and gives an overall cleaner overview.

This deck is available for free, however some people have been donating when downloading this course, this is very much appreciated and helps me massively in making my dream come true of being able to provide free learning resources without having to ask money for them. I am a strong believer that learning resources should be free, but I’m also realistic in this. Many people who make learning resources do it as a job and want more security. I however rely on the good will of others to earn my income from.

over 5 months ago I became a stay at home dad and started focusing on making more free learning resources (videos, software, …) to share. This has been a somewhat difficult transition as being a stay at home dad requires more work than I expected and making these resources is also quite time consuming.

The JPSB deck contains all kinds of grammar, vocab, and kanji. I believe that the the cards in this deck should take you up to JLPT N3 level, on which you will have enough knowledge to expand your knowledge by reading/watching/listening to native resources.

Overall, the making of this deck took me some weeks of figuring out the card styles, folder structure and gathering the content for this deck. I made this deck when I was still a full time teacher so I only had little amount of time to work on this because of my job.

Will I make any other Japanese study decks for Anki? Probably not as I find that this deck is quite feature complete.
