Version 0.2-alpha
Now available on Itch.io! I’ll try to keep this as up-to-date as possible with the releases on GitHub but there might be a delay of some minutes to some hours depending on how busy I am.
A lot of updates
Version 0.1-alpha got released some time ago but there were quite a few bugs, previous versions can all be found on the GoZen GitHub release page: https://github.com/VoylinsGamedevJourney/gozen/releases
https://github.com/VoylinsGamedevJourney/gozen/issues/125 This issue is the tracker of all features which I want to implement before moving to the features for version 0.3. Take in mind, there will be a 2.1 release with the other features mentioned in that issue. I want to get updates out at a regular interval to know when bugs are happening so I can fix them as time goes along.
The 2.1 release will be VERY soon and will include quite a few necessary features for making GoZen more usable. ;)

Shortcuts
The editor is very shortcut based right now. Here’s a small list of the available shortcuts:
Ctrl+K
= Cutting clips;Ctrl+Enter
= Opening the rendering menu;/
= Opening the command bar;
Debug shortcuts
Ctrl+click on clip
= Printing debug info in the terminal; For debugging you can now print some clip info by usingCtrl+click
on selected clip to get debug info printed in terminal. This is useful in certain cases for developing.
Progress has been fast!
I’ve been able to get a lot of stuff done, that’s why the version increase to 0.2. Lot’s of stuff still needs to happen including the “voted” for feature in the recent devlog: https://youtu.be/h_y13C3D8K8 Every devlog I’ll let the community decide on one feature which I should work upon, this will go together with bug fixing and adding/improving other stuff of the editor.
