The journey for this teleprompter was quite a difficult one because of the web export limitations as the TeleDot View was first going to be a web export which could be started from Itch.io at the time you wanted to record. However web exports in Godot 4.1 are a little buggy and there were big networking limitations. So I decided to make it into a android app instead (sorry Apple users but this project is open source so build it yourself if you want to use it).

I am making this available on Itch.io before I release my video as the editing will take longer then initially expected. However in the video I will go over the code and how to use this program. I understand that many people probably don’t need a teleprompter with these features as for most people an app on their phone is more then enough, but it wasn’t for me if I wanted to save time and work more conveniently.

Features:

• Richtext support because of Godot’s RichTextLabel;
• Ability of changing the script very easily, without having to copy it into something like google drive and then on your phone copy it from google drive to your teleprompter app;
• Time saving by not having to keep taking out the phone out of the teleprompter itself;
• Change settings and control the view from your pc;
• Display a screensaver whilst using the teleprompter so if your screen is visible in your videos, you can still make it look the way you want it to ^^
